2013 Calendar Project Complete

Happy Friday Everyone,

Only 24 more days till Christmas. No I didn't count the days. I added a widget over on the left sidebar that told me. :-)

My husband and I went out yesterday and were able to get some Christmas goodies. All major Christmas shopping is done now it's just if we find some little extras for each other we will get them.

Today I bring you  The Outlawz Copic/Promarker challenge. This also marks an end to the calendar project. Yes the files are still available if you want to hurry and make some for gifts. We made it through 12 months of the calendar pages. I have pictures of my December calendar below along with a slide show I put together of all of my calendar pages. I have already bound and given my calendar away as a gift for a friend. She loved it.

This is Bugaboo Stella at her Christmas best. She is colored with my Copics.

Here she is up close. I have to say this was really fun to make. I am glad I stuck with it and finished because it made such a great gift. I hope you will join us for our challenge that we have with the calendar.

I have also added a slide show of all of the calendar pages for you to see.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Black Friday Shopping

Hello Everyone,

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was great. The day was perfect.

Today is Black Friday and that will bring crowds of people to all the stores and shopping malls.
So today theme over at The Outlawz is Black Friday Shopping.
I was amazed at how many shopping images are out there. This one I used is by Phindy. Now you know if you are out shopping today you will encounter someone doing just this talking on their cell phone not paying any attention to where they are going and more than likely plow right into you. LOL

I have colored the image with my copics. I went to town on this one with my Cameo.
I cut the image and the background layer of the image out with the Cameo. I also did the little banners with the Cameo. I love that banner file I got from SVGcuts.com

I added a little seam binding ribbon with a couple of little jingle bells. There is also a little bakers twine that is being used to hang the banners.

My Paper is by Best Creations. It hard to see in the picture but it is glittery paper. I is very pretty.

I added stickles to one of her shopping bags and glossy accents to her boots. I was very happy with how this came out. I hope you will join us over at The Outlawz this week.
Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello Everyone,

Yup less then a week away for Thanksgiving here in the US.

So with that The Outlawz CPC challenge theme this week is Thanksgiving.

My image today is one that I won a few months back from Whimsy Stamps. I just love this image. I think it is so funny.

I have colored this bird and his feast with my Copics.
I used various papers including some that had Give Thanks and Thanksgiving printed on them. I cut them out and added them to the card. A few old brads that I had at the bottom of the card.

That is one stuffed bird. I sure hope you will join us this week. We love to see what you have. Just remember you card must be new and not posted anywhere prior to our posting and you must use copic/promarkers to color you image.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful Thanksgiving to all those celebrating.

Veterans Day Outlawz CP challenge

Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone's week has went well. It is bright and sunny here today. Beautiful fall day.

This Sunday here in the US is Veterans Day. The copic challenge over at The Outlawz is commemorating it with our challenge this week. Veterans remembrance. I am doing this card in honor of my Grandfather who I lost when I was 9 years old. He served our country way back in World War One when he was just 17.

I have made this card using my Cameo to create the silhouette of the GI kneeling down at a grave cross.

The image is by Elizabeth Dulemba and is colored with my Copic.

The Flag background paper is by Bo Bunny. I love the way it looks with this.

The image and border as well as the word Remember were also cut out with my Cameo.

Now is the time to take a moment to remember all the men and woman that have given so much to help achieve and keep our freedom.

Formal Wedding

Hi Everyone,

I am rather late today posting this. It has been a very crazy busy last couple of days.
I am here today with my card for the challenge over at Through the Craft Room Door that starts today.

This weeks sponsor is Guylou Intimitailities giving the winner 3 digi images.

The image below is by Guylou. Isn't that Wedding Cake yummy?

I wanted to make it look very formal so I kept with gray, black, silver and white.
The papers are by Making Memories as is the stick pins that match.

It's hard to see but the cake and flowers have stickles on it in different places and the dots on the cake is done with Liquid Pearls. Also added black and silver glitter pearls. The ribbon is white on one side and black on the other, very pretty.

The heart border punch is a Martha Stewart punch.

If you are not a subscriber to the magazine. Check out my video below for a sneak peek of the latest issue. And there will be another one coming up later this month.

The second is the new challenge over at The Outlawz Copic/Promaker group.

We have a new sponsor this month

The winner will receive their choice of 3 digi's and one paper pack.

The image that I have used is one from That's Fabulous. It is part of a set. Boy were there a lot of images in the set.
The theme this week all about Circles in celebration of National Search for Circles Day

I love the way this card came out. I have colored the image with my Copics. The paper is from Nordic Holiday by Basic Grey.

The snowflakes were cut using my Cameo then I triple embossed them with a white sparkle embossing powder. Bummer it didn't show up on the photo.

The little evergreens are brads that I purchased at the Ocean City MD convention back in March. They are so cute.

The verse is also from That's Fabulous, it came with the snowman set.

I hope you will stop over and joining us for our challenge this week.
